138th Ringling Pyro Crew Member Jake Walther oversees Southern Exposure Pyrotechnics, LLC in the Fredericksburg, VA area, my own hometown. Specializing in Class B/C 2-8+in diameter shells and close proximate white-glove services.
Acro-Rigging Training
Under circus veteran Alejandro Vargas, I worked as ground crew (downrigger) for 122-motor points, and as lead climber for acronets and pyro aerial bursts. Collaborated with ATD and HoA for truss truck pack across 3 1/2 trucks.
Proximate Audience Cue Running
As Asst. Pyrotech, my duties included overseeing the setup of fire prevention systems (extinguishers, blankets, water access) and serving as ground support for HoSFX during live show cueing. Served as pyro operator for 3x performances, July 13th, 2024, San Antonio, TX.
Stunt/Performer Deck Running
Work alongside several troupes for setup/breadkown of set pieces, properties, and acro rigging.
